Most of Eric Robitaille's works consist of fantastic and surrealistic dreamscapes, each unique in their own way. The pieces are distinguished by a strong rhythm and relation between shape and colour. His inspiration comes completely from the subconscious. A self-taught artist, he paints without questioning the significance of it and often the complete aura of the painting is not known until the final stages of the piece.

Eric uses primarily oil paint as it allows him to express his creations through extreme details & texturing. With each painting, Eric develops the techniques and experience required to reproduce the flow of his imagination.

The artist's work often consists of enigmatic scenes, with no deep meaning other than to ignite the imagination of the viewer.
