Inspired by Andy Warhol's pop art and Banksy's stencilwork, my creations under the psuedonymn S3 are commercial art with a touch of sarcasm. Enjoying the impact of silkscreening and solid colours, I adapted my methods to get the same result with less equipment, and my stencilwork was born.

With this kind of painting, I am able to turn cold lifeless subjects into ideas and messages. I use repetition a lot because it creates a visual overload, echoing the overproduction and overconsumption in our world. Text also takes an important place in my pieces, with a direct and openly subversive message. To make my work more accessible, I reproduce the subjects of my paintings on clothes. I've created a collection of hats, T-shirts, belt buckles and other wearables, so anybody who's into my art can get a piece, regardless of their pocket power.
